For those of us who are grinding end-game content, you may have noticed that following The Way of Winter Update, there was a change in how players can obtain Weapon and Armor Mods from Monoliths and Silos.

This Guide outlines what Weapon and Armor Mods are available in The Way of Winter Silos and Monoliths, including an explanation for the new Mod Self-Selection Crates, and a convenient Mod Location Table.

So that you don't have to scroll through too much text, we've provided the Mod Location Table just below. This table is being updated as necessary for when new scenarios are released and updates to the game are being made - so keep an eye out for any changes.

The Entrance of the Zone of Haze (LEA Lab Equivalent)You can receive any Weapon or Armor Mods from The Entrance of the Zone of Haze.

Silos and Armor Mods

You can obtain each type of Armor Mod from the The Way of Winter Silos. On Normal and Hard Mode, the maximum rarity of an Armor Mod is Legendary, and it will have no guaranteed sub-attribute levels. On Pro Mode, Legendary Rarity Mods obtained with a Controller are guaranteed to include an Epic Rarity Secondary Attribute.

Helmet Mods

You can obtain Helmet Mods from Securement Silo 08 (also referred to as 'Securement Silo - Taurus' in Once Human). In Securement Silo 08, you will be fighting a group of Vultures who have commandeered a repository of art pieces, originally owned by Mr. Taurus, a pre-Starfall art tycoon.

Upon completion of this Silo, you will also receive Stardust Source, Energy Link, Armor Mod Parts, and a weekly bonus drop of a Level 3 Cortex for your Territory Purification.

Pants and Tops Mods

Securement Silo PSI is where you will find Pant Mods and Top Mods in The Way of Winter. There are no specific Mod Types for either Pant or Top Mods. Top Mods focus on defensive measures, such as receiving Damage Reduction (unless you're equipping a Non-Legendary Munitions Amplifier, for example) while Pants Mods can assist with Bullet Reloading and generalized Damage Buffs (Weakspot, Weapon Damage, Elemental).

Similarly to the other Silos, you will also receive Stardust Source, Energy Link, Armor Mod Parts, and a weekly bonus drop of a Level 3 Cortex for your Territory Purification upon completion.

Mask Mods

You can receive Mask Mods from Securement Silo EX1, which is one of the first Silos you will come across in The Way of Winter. Completion of Securement Silo EX1 will provide you with Stardust Source, Energy Link, Armor Mod Parts, and a weekly bonus drop of a Level 3 Cortex for your Territory Purification upon completion.

Gloves and Shoes Mods

You will find both Gloves and Shoes Mods in Securement Silo - Delta. This is the very first Silo you will be sent to by Lowe, which is located in Chasm Oblivion in the Onyx Tundra. Delta has been overrun by Vultures, much like Securement Silo 08, and you will face both Vultures and a small group of Deviants inside.

Monoliths and Weapon Mod Self-Selection Crates

There are three Monoliths in The Way of Winter, not including the new Entrance of the Zone of Haze Dungeon. Each Monolith corresponds with three Keyword Types. Upon completion of a Monolith, you will receive a Weapon Mod Self-Selection Crate where you can choose what Keyword Mod you would like to receive from the Monolith.

Shrapnel, Fast Gunner, and The Bull's Eye Weapon Mods

You can find Shrapnel Mods, Fast Gunner Mods, and The Bull's Eye Mods in the Firedust Monolith, the new home for The Forsaken Giant. In this Monolith, we see the same mechanics as the original Manibus Forsaken Giant. On Normal and Hard Mode, the Max Rarity of the Mod is Legendary with no guaranteed substats level. On Pro Mode, Legendary Rarity Mods obtained with a Controller are guaranteed to include an Epic Rarity Secondary Attribute.

Burn, Bounce, and Fortress Warfare Weapon Mods

You can find Burn Mods, Bounce Mods, and Fortress Warfare Mods in the Avalanche Monolith, which is home to the Treants Great One. This Monolith has similar mechanics to the original Manibus version, but you will be dealing with a few different enemies that were introduced on The Way of Winter update. On Normal and Hard Mode, the Max Rarity of the Mod is Legendary with no guaranteed substats level. On Pro Mode, Legendary Rarity Mods obtained with a Controller are guaranteed to include an Epic Rarity Secondary Attribute.

Frost Vortex, Unstable Bomber, and Power Surge Weapon Mods

You can obtain Frost Vortex Mods, Unstable Bomber Mods, and Power Surge Weapon Mods from the Tundra Monolith - home of the new Secret Servitor Great One. On Pro Mode, Legendary Rarity Mods obtained with a Controller are guaranteed to include an Epic Rarity Secondary Attribute. On Hard Mode, the Max Rarity of the Mod is Legendary with no guaranteed levels.

Weapon and Armor Mods from the Entrance of the Zone of Haze

This is the LEA Lab equivalent for The Way of Winter. The Entrance of the Zone of Haze can drop any Weapon or Armor Mods, and if you're using Controllers, you can obtain Legendary Rarity Mods with a guaranteed Epic Rarity Secondary Attribute after Phase III.

This Guide will be updated to correspond with Once Human's Game Updates, to ensure that the above table is accurate at all times. If you notice that any information in this article is outdated, please feel free to get in touch via our Discord Server.
